  • December 2019 - Dark Mode Issue Resolved.

    All our Apps have now been updated to work in dark mode.

  • November 2019 - Power Pie V2.1.1 Released!

    Updated, thanks to your feedback, to correct a bug in the kVA to kW and kW to kVA converter options. Previoulsy the lowest allowable kW or kVA value was 5kW or 5 kVA. It’s now been updated such that the lowest acceptable input value is 0.1 kW or 0.1 kVA. All feedback is welcome!

  • July 2019 - Generator Pie V2.1 Released!

    Version 2.1 introduces the ‘Engine Droop’ tool as part of the Engine feature. This tool calculates the generator’s percentage droop together with the corresponding reference speed required to provide 100% power to the network it is operating in parallel with.

  • May 2019 - Acoustic Pie V2.0 Released!

    As requested we’ve added a frequency generation feature. This new feature allows you to select the frequency of a sine wave, a pure tone, and play it audibly through your device’s speakers. Have fun!

    We’ve listened to your feedback and revised this app to give you version 2.0! As requested we’ve combined the three phase and single phase calculations to make changing between them quick and easy. We’ve also retained and combined all supporting information to assist your understanding of how this app works.

  • April 2019 - Generator Pie V2.0 Released!

    Version 2.0 introduces the ‘Engine’ feature. The first Engine tool is an ‘Engine Speed’ calculator that calculates the engine speed needed to allow the generator’s alternator to provide a desired electrical supply frequency. The required frequency and number of poles on the alternator is required to undertake this calculation.

    This ever popular app has been updated to provide a simplified full calculation, as requested, such that both the inputs and outputs are on the same screen. This feature has now been renamed ‘Detailed Calculation’. In addition we have given the app a general refresh and updated our social media and web links.
